โWinter months are particularly challenging for the skin. Cold air outside causes pore tightening, reduced blood circulation and decreased sebum production, whereas indoor heating contributes to skin dehydration. This time of the year requires particularly good routine to keep the skin healthy and rehydrated. That is why BIODERMA offers both an excellent cleanser (Atoderm Shower Oil) and a moisturiser (Atoderm Intensive Balm) which can be used by the whole family and are suitable from birth. Atoderm Shower Oil provides 24-hour hydration and ultra-nourishing properties owing to plant biolipids and glycerine. Biolipids also relieve tightness and help reduce irritation, while vitamin PP supports the skin barrier. Atoderm Intensive Balm stimulates lipid and protein production thanks to ingredients such as fatty acids and biolipids. It also helps to reduce itching and moisturise the skin with the addition of glycerine and a mixture of mineral oils. Both products also contain patented Skin Barrier TherapyTM which helps to regulate the skin microbiome, recreate skin barrierโs integrity with multilamellar lipids and triggers synthesis of lipids and proteins. Tests show that after 7-day use there is a 93% increase in skin hydration and significant reduction is transepidermal water loss. Both products are recommended for babies, children and adults for both face and body. Atoderm Shower Oil is to be used daily for the shower or bath and Atoderm Intensive Balm should ideally be applied twice daily.
