Will Powell, G.I.A. Diamonds Graduate & A.J.P
3.51ct Cushion Cut Diamond Ring, Β£66,000
Being a G.I.A. Diamonds Graduate and with sourcing beautiful diamonds for stock being my passion, I thought Iβd share this real showstopper with you as it is currently my favourite piece. This stunning 3.51 carat cushion cut diamond, graded by the GIA, has a perfect D colour with excellent polish, and symmetry. These factors add up to a truly scintillating diamond, which I could happily get lost in. If cut well, when you look into such a stone they appear to be endless, in fact, Iβm that fond of them, I even chose a cushion cut diamond when getting engaged myself.
Sophie Evans F.G.A
Antique Opal and Diamond Ring, Β£3,750
One of my favourite rings is this opal and rose-cut diamond ring with a beautiful play of colour. The ring also has a secret engraving on the inside, showing fine craftsmanship. Opals were highly sought after during the Victorian era thanks to Queen Victoria wearing them throughout her reign. A lot of people believe opals are bad luck, but I say you make your own luck in life!
Jonathan Ross
Antique Butterfly Brooch, Β£2,200
I chose this Victorian butterfly brooch as I love what it stands for (not to mention the gorgeous gemstones itβs set with). The Victorians loved their symbolism and hidden meanings; to them the butterfly represented the phases of human growth.
Greg Powell F.G.A
1920S Americal Pearl and Enamel Necklace, Β£800
This fabulous necklace is beautifully handmade, itβs special because it combines the goldsmithβs delicate workmanship, the setters skill with fine diamonds and the amazing shaded enamel which complements the cultured pearls perfectly in this necklace which just shouts quality.
Samantha Craigie
Edwardian Aquamarine and Diamond Pendant, Β£2,250
This stunning Edwardian aquamarine and diamond laurel wreath pendant is so pretty, feminine and delicate. Accentuated by the gorgeous articulated blue aquamarine which sparkles to the centre.
Leonard Prescott
Omega Silver Pocket Watch, Β£835
The hand-painted dial is a striking difference to the more common, Arabic or Roman Numeral types. Bright, bold colours capture the eye immediately, with the time almost becoming a secondary function. Truly a piece of art and craftsmanship that displays the quality and attention to detail of its manufacturer, Omega.
Cathy Powell
Art Deco Diamond Bracelet, Β£8,750
I love this Art Deco diamond set bracelet because it symbolises the smart, elegant linear and geometric lines of the period. Infinitely wearable practical but above all beautiful and desirable.
Joanne Owen
Art Nouveau Floral Bowl, Β£795
This embossed silver Art Nouveau floral bowl has to be one of my favourite pieces at the moment. It depicts the βmorning gloryβ flower and is stamped with a Chester Assay mark, made by significant Silversmiths George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
