The Remedy to Diet Woes
Michael Gates trialled the new Remedy Kitchen Meal Prep Plan as part of his new diet regime
Having piled on a few too many pounds during lockdown and with summer fast approaching, it was time to take action. I have been enduring outdoor PT sessions throughout winter, but I really needed to get my diet back on track. With so many options for meal prep on the market, I was really excited to try The Remedy Kitchen. Already well established as a favourite Manchester healthy eating restaurant, they now offer luxury tailored Meal Prep Plans which are 100% gluten, dairy and refined sugar free.
There are various plans to suit your lifestyle and dietary needs, I opted for a 3 day reset plan view to supercharging the body and mind. You can choose from plant-based, vegetarian, meat-based or pescatarian. Available for delivery or collection, I arranged a convenient drive-in lay-by collection which was seamless. I couldn’t wait to get home and review my personalised menu for the days ahead. I also added a smoothie bundle, with a different flavour for each day.

Favourite Dishes
My favourite lunch was the citrus avocado, lentil and black grape salad. It was so light, fresh and tasty and the lime, ginger and chilli dressing had a real zing. For dinner it would have be the chicken and mixed bean chilli closely followed by the coconut and cardamom curry. Both dishes were flavoursome and just had the right level of spice. And finally, my favourite smoothie was the tropical glow. Think a colada cocktail but minus the alcohol and actually healthy for you!
By day 4, I could definitely feel the benefits of the plan. Not only did I felt less bloated, I had lost 4 pounds in 3 days. And the best part of it was the food was delicious and I didn’t go hungry. So, if like me, you don’t have the time to meal prep every day and want freshly prepared dishes, brimming with vitamins, nutrients and 100% gluten, dairy and refined sugar free, give The Remedy Kitchen a try.
Remedy Kitchen is open for meal prep clients and will reopen for sit-in dining on 17th May. For plans and prices, check out their website:
